We are seeking qualified candidates to apply for our open position in the instrument business.
Responsibilities
- Performs analytical instrument services, including installation, repairs, and maintenance
- Performs instrument reconfiguration, assembling, and quality control (QC) tests
- Participates in development of new analytical technologies
- Occasional travel, domestic or international
- Provides tech support for U.S. and global customers via phone, email, or online chat messaging
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology or related
- majors
- Knowledge of engineering concepts including electronics, flow, heat transfer, liquid
- handling, control, and instrument/machine assembly
- Knowledge or experience of gas chromatography (GC), GC-MSD, HPLC instrument is
- plus
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
- Able to work independently, learn quickly in a fast-paced environment; a self-starter
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and web searching
- Experience in or knowledge of general lab safety practices
- Good organization, communication, observation, and team skills
- Good technical reading and writing skills including report, manual and application notes
- Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese a plus, but not required

We are seeking qualified candidates to apply for our open Lab Chemist position.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and executes the column process: solution, coating, phase curing, and quality control (QC)
- Performs and supervises QC testing using the Standard of Procedure (SOP) and Gas Chromatograph (GC) instruments
- Provides in-house tech support for order fulfilment
- Provides customer support for our U.S. and global customer base, which includes: GC
- troubleshooting, method development, and product applications
- Documents manufacturing processes
- Produces production summaries and reports on weekly base
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology or relating majors
- Knowledge/experience of GC, GC-MSD, HPLC instrument
- Working experience with sample and solution preparation
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures and instructions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, namely Excel and Word
- Proficient in internet searching
- Knowledge of general lab practices and safety practices including liquid handling
- Good technical writing
- Able to learn quickly and self-manage in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication, team, organization, and planning skills
