Job Duties: • Analytical instrument services, including installations, repairs, maintenances inhouse or customer sites • Instrument reconfiguration, assembling and QC test • Participate in development of new analytical technologies • Occasional travels, domestic or international • Tech support via phone, email or internet Qualifications: • Bachelor degree or associate degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology or relating majors • Knowledges of engineering concepts including electronics, flow, heat transfer, liquid handling, control, and instrument/machine assembly • Knowledge/experience of GC, GC-MSD, HPLC instrument is plus • Demonstrate hands-on experience • Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem solving experience • Balance of instruction following up and alternation • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, instructions and manuals • Proficiency in Microsoft office, and web searches • Experience or knowledge of general lab practice and safety practice • Good communication skill and team player • Good organizing personality • Good technical writing skills including report, manual and application notes • Good observing, care and detailing work attitudes Job Location: Newark, Delaware, USA Application Contact: Email cover letter, resume and transcript to info@gs-tek.com, no phone call, please.
