Guard column is commonly used as a retention gap and guard column or sample transfer line. The column is inert and near neutral surface and used for protecting analytical columns from dirty sample introduction. They can prolong analytical column life, as the trap the most “dirty” or undesired compounds. We offer four types of guard column:
- deactivated fused silica tubing. we provide two types of modified surface non-polar with methylsilane and PEG. We can also offer other deactivation methods upon requesting.
- deactivated metal column
- particle trapped guard column: we provided guard column with proprietary phase for particle trap, which specially used with PLOT column to prevent particle entering detector.
- undeactivated fused silica tubing: no deactivated process and affordable price.
